This workshop is suitable for all levels of photographer and offers participants the opportunity to learn how to capture images of wild puffins (and other seabirds) in the area local to Aberdeen. The number of participants is strictly limited to 4 (min 2) to allow adequate one to one time with your instructor and to prevent scaring the birds away.
This type of workshop is obviously weather dependent and bookings may have to be rescheduled.
The puffins are wild animals and as such there is no guarantee they will be present. In the unlikely event of there being a no show from the puffins, a no puffin - no fee policy will be applied. That’s right; if there are no puffins to be seen you will receive a full refund.
No real specialist equipment is needed but the following is essential:
DSLR Camera with lens (minimum 200mm focal length)
Sturdy footwear as there is a short to middle length walk to the shooting site
Warm windproof clothing is also recommended
The meeting point will be disclosed at the point of booking and transport can be provided from Aberdeen if required.
